The Signalman is a story that has never been screened before. Loosely based on an eponymous short story by Charles Dickens, the short is directed by Daniel Augusto (who directed Paulo Coelho’s Best Story).
According to Italo Calvino, Dickens’ work is among the most important in fantastic literature. This tense story portrays a man confronting his inner fears, living in a desolate railroad facility and facing incredible otherworldly events.
The film premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival and has been awarded in the following events:
