Have you ever stopped to think how cities are born? That’s the idea behind the Origem dos Nomes dos Municípios Paulistas, (“Origin of the Names of São Paulo State Municipalities”) an exhibit launched by the Museu da Língua Portuguesa (Portuguese Language Museum), on tour throughout the São Paulo state interior.

IMG Content created two touchscreen panels that highlight the 70 m² area specially designed to house the exhibit’s content. One screen allows visitors to create their own ideal city, choosing the location and priority resources for the new municipality. The second panel offers a digital version of the book by Enio Squeff, a catalog of the state’s 645 municipalities and toponyms the exhibit is named after.
